"I
walked to where the Police were riding around and asked what they
were doing.
The non-Aboriginal P.O. did all the speaking, (as usual) stating,
that they were looking for marijuana. I asked why they hadn't
come to see me as they knew I lived just up the track.
I reminded them
that it was
Aboriginal land
and under my care. The P.O. disagreed vehemently and must have
said Crown Land
a dozen times. " |
For
ten years I have told people,
"I live on Aboriginal land."
